Tamara Wallace Interview

Better Government Despite Political Differences
An Interview with Tamara Wallace
City Council Member, South Lake Tahoe (2018 - Present)

In this video interview, Tamara Wallace describes her fascinating journey as a politically conservative council member in South Lake Tahoe. She says, the Red/Blue workshop she attended was "one of the most wonderful things I ever participated in." Referring to Braver Angels and Bridging Divides-El Dorado, she says, "This organization is not about changing your belief system. It's about understanding why other people believe what they believe, and it's about helping the other side understand why you believe what you believe and then moving forward together."

Tamara's story demonstrates that, for some, just one bridging event can have a profound and lasting impact.
